Joke At Work

Working at The Den in uni was alright. Have great people around. The boss is nice. Anyway, there are many greeks that work there (they are the boss's relatives). Anyway, there is this guy whose name is Paul. I heard he used to work in ANZ but took a couple of years off. This guy always come up with the lamest joke. Lame. But funny. One of it is as follow:

Pm : Hey, i like this song.
(Bon Jovi's "You give love a bad name" playing in the backgroud)
Donovan : I like this song too. Yeah, Bon Jovi.
Pm and Donovan: La-la-la.
Paul : Eh, you guys know that Bon Jovi has a sister? She got her own band as well.
Pm : Really?
Donovan : Huh?
Paul : Yeah. Her name is Anne.
Donovan : Anne Jovi?
Paul : HAHA. Yeah, Anchovy
Wesley : I saw that coming. Haha.
Pm and Donovan: -_- wtf?

Have a nice day.

Stand and Shh-hh-h-hH-hhhhh

Just came back from work on a Saturday night. Maccas is a shit place to work. Working at the uni cafe is better. Much MUCH better.

Anyway, a friend once asked me what will i do if i get to be a guy for a day. Well, my reply was "The first thing i will do is stand and pee." I had always wonder how it feels. Haha. don't ask me why. But i have always envy how convenient it is for guys to do their small business.

You see, i'm very sensitive with toilets. Any sight or smell from public toilets can make me throw up instantly. This make going to public toilet in m'sia almost impossible for me.

Some time ago, i saw this article which said that some dude in Taiwan had invented this thig which shape like a cone. This cone like thing enable women to stand and pee just like guys when they wear it. According to the man who invented this thing, he invented it because he realised that the time spent by women on doing their small business is so long that it always caused traffic during peak time at his office. Therefore, he hopes that with his invention, women can save time on peeing and also, this allows them to share toilet with the men. See, one stone kill two bird. haha.

How cool is that?

Work and Work and Work

Muahaha... my baby made me write again. this blog was abandoned once again since i had no interest in writing it at all. Life for the past 6 months was pretty boring. The only highlight was i GRADUATED !!! Yes! i FINALLY graduated. That's all. End of story.

Well, i'm now in the process of applying PR. Hope all goes well though. For now, all i can do is work and work and work at the cafe that i had been working since the beginning of this year. So my life is BORING. I've been trying to save up since i splurged on my trip to Fallscreek (which is an utter disaster. DON'T ASK WHY). If i'm to stay/work here, i promised to make the Fallscreek trip an annual event. SNOWBOARDING is the best sport! Love it! But i earn peanuts at the cafe i worked. If you convert to ringgit then i think i'm quite rich........

Oh yeah, I'm addicted to MAHJONG !! haha. I only learnt to play the game a couple of weeks ago and now i'm the proud owner of a mahjong table and a mahjong set. To think that my mum never wanted to teach me. HAHA. Dear mom, i can now play mahjong with you. haha. Well, it's a cheap form of entertainment which makes time seem to fly. The best part was that my baby is addicted to it too. It's pretty funny for a guy that can't read chinese charaters trying to play mahjong. He even had difficulty differentiating North, South, East and West when he started playing.

Uncertainty

I have decided to write again. I used to write on the happenings of my everyday life. When I look back, it brings back certain memories that I rather not remember. Hence, I decided to start afresh. The whole point of this is that I want to record down the turning point of my life where in future I can read back to see if I have make the right decision.

Uni life is coming to an end real soon (I hope). Another 6 months will be gone in the blink of an eye. What will happen after that...? I wonder. I have to start planning now. I want to apply for PR so that I can work in Australia but too bad I do not have enough points with my degree. So, what’s the next step? Go back to KL for good? To do Master? I wonder what the best solution is…

I remember a friend once told me this… “It’s like you are in a mist trying to find your way out...” I think it truly express my situation now. I have no idea which direction to go and where it will lead to.

This reminds me of a poem I learnt in school.

The Road Not Taken
By Robert Frost

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth:

Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear:
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,

And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I –
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

I hope things will turn out alright for me.
